Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange EAD (IBEX) will distribute its entire profit for 2021 in the amount of BGN 7.8 million as a dividend to its sole owner – the Bulgarian Stock Exchange AD (BSE). This was decided by the board of directors of BSE, which accepted the proposal of the board of directors of IBEX for the distribution of the profit for 2021.
The dividend from the profit for 2021 of IBEX should be paid to the sole owner of the capital – BSE.
In 2020, IBEX paid just over BGN 5.2 million as a dividend to BSE.
In 2018, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange acquired the energy exchange from the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) for the sum of BGN 5.2 million, paying BGN 4 million, and the remaining 1.2 million were paid at a later stage using the profits from the energy exchange itself.
