Over the past year, representatives of the Association of Traders with Electricity in Bulgaria (ATEB) have participated as speakers in a number of workshops. Due to the active partnership between ATEB and Utilities Magazine and the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University, ATEB presented 8 lectures in the following workshops:
- Power exchange trading in South East Europe
- Second Summer School “Energy Management”
- Power exchange trading
- Facility Management and Energy Services
- Power exchange trading and management of imbalances
- “REMIT – Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency”
- Management of imbalances within the balancing groups and participation on the balancing market
- First Online Training “Electricity Trading and Regional Markets”
The main objective of the workshops is to provide the participants in the energy sector with quality postgraduate training through up-to-date information on the fundamentals, best practices and developments in the electricity markets. The organizers of Utilities Magazine and the Faculty of Economics rely on lecturers with years of experience and knowledge in the energy field. ATEB, as an association of electricity traders, participates with presentations on the topics related to the electricity market in Bulgaria and in the region, balancing market, portfolio management, regulatory framework in the sector etc.
