Summer school “Management in the energy sector” took place between 19.09.2018 and 21.09.2018. The aim of the school was to provide the participants from the energy sector with quality post-graduate training through up-to-date information on the basics, the common practices and the developments of the management challenges in the energy sector. The training was organized by Utilities magazine in cooperation with the Center for Educational Services of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in the Sofia University. ATEB had the pleasure to be a partner of the event and the chairman of the Association – Mr. Martin Georgiev delivered a lecture on the topic of “Electricity Market and Regulations”.
The participants in the seminar were students, PhDs, junior experts from the energy companies, managers from utility and energy companies, financial organizations, IT companies as well as representatives from the state institutions. The lecturers on the other hand were proven professionals with years of experience and knowledge in the field of energy management.
The main topics in the three-day agenda were:
- Principles of energy regulation and pricing
- Financing and investment
- Management of energy and utility companies
The participants who successfully completed the training received a certificate from the Center for Educational Services (CST) of the Faculty of Economics of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
