Independent Bulgarian energy exchange (IBEX) published on its webpage the tariffs and the registration procedure for participation on the energy exchange. Market participants will have the opportunity to choose between two tariffs with variations in the annual fee and the turnover fee. By choosing tariff 1 the market participants will pay an annual fee of 24 000 BGN and turnover fee of 0.14 BGN/MWh, while in tariff 2 the annual fee is 0 BGN, and the turnover fee is 0.32BGN/MWh.
The registration procedure of a market participant goes through several major steps. Initially the candidate has to fill out and send a registration application available at IBEX webpage. After the application is approved, the exchange operator sends to the candidate a registration agreement which sets the terms as well as the size of the fees that should be paid by the participant. After a successful training with IBEX platform and after all the fees and security guarantees are paid, the market participant is authorized to start trading on the exchange. Note that all required documents have to be filled in Bulgarian. The English version is only for convenience and has no legal power.
