Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD has launched procedures for election of members (representatives of the state) in the Boards of Directors in subsidiaries of Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) – public enterprises in which BEH owns 100% of the capital. The opened procedures include the election of three board members of the following companies:
- Kozloduy NPP EAD;
- Bulgargaz EAD;
- Bulgartransgaz EAD;
- Electricity System Operator EAD;
- “Mini Maritsa – East” EAD;
- “National Electric Company”;
- Maritza East 2 EAD
At the same time, there is an on-going proceeding, organized by the Ministry of Energy, for the election of three board members of Bulgarian Energy Holding.
All boards have 5 members. Three of them will be selected through competition. The other two members will be “independent” and will be elected following a competition organized by the Public enterprises and control agency. For the other two, the so-called independent members of the boards, the Public enterprises and control agency will announce competition in the up-coming days. The elected members of the boards of directors will serve at least 3-year term.
