Regarding the case № КЗК-305/554 from 2013 with subject restriction or distortion of competition on the energy market and abuse of monopoly or dominant position, the Commission for protection of competition (CPC) published its decision. In it the Commission points out that after a complete analysis of the energy sector found: “that no violations of art. 21 and art. 15 from the Law for Protection of Competition (LPC) were made by Association of traders with electricity in Bulgaria”. During the investigation the Commission found that neither of the decisions taken by the Association affect the competition on the energy market nor prevent, restrict or distort competition on the relevant market.
