The European Commission (EC) has approved the measures for reducing the expenses for green energy of the big industrial consumers. During the 2015 in compliance with the changes in the Energy Act from 6th of March 2015 the minister of energy, minister of finances and minister of economy have issued a combined ordinance which determines the reduction of the burden for purchase of electricity from RE part of the fee “obligations to society” for the big industrial consumers.
The Ordinance will enter into force after its publishing in the official journal of EC. It be applied from 01.08.2015 on and will be valid till 31st of December 2020. To use the discount from the fee for RE the industrial consumers have to meet the requirements defined in the Ordinance.
EC has also officially approved the support scheme for renewable energy with preferential prices part of the Renewable Energy Act from 2011.
